New record this Summer… Not a Born and Raised “plus”… A new group of songs to bring the whole thing up to date with Summer 2013. I have that hunger that always precedes something meaningful. See you all soon. And thanks for the warm welcome back to the stage. Getting back on it a little at a time.

It’s surreal knowing that a great thing is going to end and when the end will start.

You know you’ll look back on it one day and say “man, those were some great times.” But even though it is sad that all things have to end I guess it is not all bad.

The fact that it was perfect was because that was the experience you needed in that part of your life. Things can’t stay the same you want forever and you don’t stay the same either.

Those times you look back on are like a time capsule of a perfect storm that created a time in your life where you were so happy that you’ll never forget it.

That’s what makes it so special, I guess. No matter where you are in life you’ll always have times you can look back on.

I don’t get on tumblr much. Although it is really cool I don’t really have time or care. Also, the fact that I saw you today makes this seem like I’m doing some lame desperate post online in an attempt to get you back which sucks because I had an idea that I wanted to rant about, so i’m going to do it anyways.

The whole concept of love is kind of sad. You become so attached and infatuated with someone after months and months of build up to that point. Then, all fo a sudden when you break up you have to learn to live without the person a million times faster than you learned to live with them as couple. Unless, you hate that stupid bitch and want nothing to do with her ass no more. But let’s assume she broke your heart and you think your world is ending because ~~you’re an overreacting fool~~ you were so in love. This could leave you in three categories:

1. You think you need to move on and never see or talk to her again so you don’t.

2. You don’t really care if you see her again or not which problem means you weren’t really in love. It’s convenient because you don’t whine like a baby or have withdrawals missing her.

3.You still want this person in your life because they had a significant impact in your life, and even if you can’t date anymore you don’t want to lose them and remain friends.

………….This 3rd sucks particularly because usually if one person does they are the person who was dumped and the dumper(?) probably wants to get away from you to get the space the craved which is why she dumped you anyways.

I found it very sad when i woke up this morning and just thought that someone you used to spend so much time with is basically no longer in your life. It’s like when you look in your past that it is an alternate reality. Some weird life where this person is actually with you in some sort of fashion.

Obviously, this is nothing new, but I just feel like it is just really depressing. I mean you can’t end up with everyone you love, but it almost makes you afraid to date someone because you don’t want to lose a good friend for something that probably won’t last even though you really want to.

Easy example Tom and Summer from500 Days of Summer. It’s obvious that i would use this example because it is my favorite movie and both actors are great. Tom and Summer were so great together in so many ways. I mean although they werent right for each other dating wise they were great just as friends. It’s a shame that they dated and broke up because they probably never talked again after the seen at Tom’s favorite spot at the end of the movie.

Although it is probably for the best I guess. I just don’t like to lose people if they were a big part of my life for a while

….oh well…..

that you called me today because I remember a few of my dreams last night, and one was of you seeing me at a movie theater. This is a story of boy meets girl. The boy, Tom Hansen of Margate, New Jersey, grew up believing that he’d never truly be happy until the day he met the one. This belief stemmed from early exposure to sad British pop music and a total misreading of the movie ‘The Graduate’. The girl, Summer Finn of Shinnecock, Michigan, did not share this belief. Since the disintegration of her parent’s marriage she’d only love two things. The first was her long dark hair. The second was how easily she could cut it off and not feel a thing. Tom meets Summer on January 8th. He knows almost immediately she is who he has been searching for. This is a story of boy meets girl, but you should know upfront, this is not a love story.
